Select sound effects and music that you have produced which you will programme into a game you have produced as part of your Unit 70 Computer Game Engines unit.
Each sound must be blogged on your Unit 73 IG3 blog as an embedded SoundCloud file. Each uploaded sound must be accompanied by a short explanation that describes what the sound will be used for within your game i.e. an explosion.
For this blog post you must use the title Sounds I will Programme Into my Game.
These two sounds below will be played simultaneously. In my game, the main character shoots fire from hit hands, so I need a flame crackling noise, which can be heard below, and a noise which sounds like he's firing three shots at once, which he does in the game. This sound can be found below the flame noise and is labelled ' triple hit '.
This sound below will be the main over world theme. The game has just begun, so I decided to go with a peaceful piece of music. I will try to get this sound to play continuously throughout the games first level.
The footstep sound below will be heard whenever the character takes a step. I have also created a singular footstep sound in case that I cannot program the 'footsteps V3' to stop playing when the character stops moving. This would cause footsteps noise to carry on playing even though he is not moving, which of course will be a problem.
This sound will be heard whenever the archers in the game fire and arrow. It will also be used for when my character gets hit.
This final sound will of course be used whenever I get my character to jump in the air.
This sound is a sound that was inspired by The Legend of Zelda series and is designed for when the player picks up an item, except, in my game I will make it play where an enemy is defeated.
